BHAVANS NATURE & ADVENTURE CENTRE

Bhavan's Nature and Adventure Centre stands out as a patch of beautiful greenery along with a water body spread over three acres of land housing and nurturing many forms of flora and

fauna. What stood as a dumping area for non-biodegradable waste is now a mini sanctuary to over 300 species of plants, trees, insects, birds, animals. Knowledge and practical training on protecting and conserving our planet and all forms of life is freely imparted to light up the minds of the younger generation. We work at building a responsible and compassionate mindset for the youth so that they can work and contribute diligently to conserve and beautify this planet in order to combat global warming.

YUSUF MEHERALLY CENTRE / GO GREEN NURSERY

Visit to Go Green Nursery for students will educate them about the various plants & herbs as the nursery has more than 100

varieties of different types of medicinal, herbal & aroma plant. The student will be briefed regarding the various plant by the professional botanists at the nursery and will be shown a presentation on the same. A quiz would also be organized for the students for which the winner of the same will be awarded by a plant. Yusuf Meherally Centre is a small scale industry whereby the kids will visit the Oil Ghani, Pottery, Bakery, Soap Factory, vermiculture & vermicompost, etc.

BORIVALI NATIONAL PARK / SANJAY GANDHI NATIONAL PARK

A visit to this National Park will help the students to develop a greater understanding of various environmental concepts, to get basic knowledge of relationship between Man & Environment;

it will also help to encourage involvement of student in conservation of nature.

BOMBAY PORT TRUST BOTANICAL GARDENS

Visit to the Sunder Upvan for the flora and fauna would be very much informative for the students. Here the students can make notes for the different trees and flowers and also get the

knowledge of the medicinal trees and their uses.

KARNALA BIRD SANCTUARY

The sanctuary is centered on the historic Karnala Fort and lies just off the Mumbai-Pune national highway to Goa. It is located 12 km from Panvel. The nearest rail head is Panvel.

The bird sanctuary is a popular destination for bird-watchers and hikers in the Mumbai area. The sanctuary is home to over 222 species birds of which 161 are resident species, 46 are winter migrant species, three are breeding migrants, seven species are passage migrants and five species are vagrant.
